OUR SAFETY

Safety at solar projects, inclusive of general power safety requirements, requires more than the mere knowledge of safety protocols; it requires the ability to evaluate unique situations in real-time to actively create safe work practices. Setting up lifelines on rooftops and ensuring use of personal protective equipment may seem trivial, but they go a long way in driving safety as a culture and ensuring zero-incident project sites. At Roofsol, we are in constant pursuit of creating safety as a culture and we train our employees and partners for same.

Safety is our primary concern while installing the Rooftop Solar Projects. As the work is to be carried out on Industrial Rooftops, utmost care is taken towards following of safety procedures. Before starting the work our installation team goes through strict medical checkups of Work on Heights certification through approved medical institutions. Onsite installation is done as per international codes and standards of safety.

Roof Water Leakage Test:

This test method covers the determination of the resistance of exterior metal roof panel systems to water penetration when water is applied to the outdoor face. This test method is applicable to any pitched roof area and is intended to measure only the water penetration associated with the field of the roof Including structural connection.

The roof exterior surface is uniformly sprayed with water at a rate of 200 liters/m2 per hour for 15 minutes.

The roof interior is checked and therefore reported in the below format:

  • Date
  • Site
  • Roof Sheet Manufacturer
  • Roof Type
  • Roof Sheet Gauge
  • Roof Area m2 (Length x Width)
  • Roof Attachment System
  • Sealant Manufacturer
  • Sealant
  • Ambient Temperature (Degree Celcius)
